Who you are

• We’re looking for a highly motivated candidate who will thrive in a fast-paced software-based start-up.
• You have a strong technical background with a master’s degree in Computational Biochemistry or Biotechnology or equivalent work experience.
• You have documented experience from drug design and/or discovery.
• You have some experience in coding and working with artificial intelligence/machine learning methods.
• You feel comfortable working in a software environment, and you have the scientific background to design, execute, analyse, and report computational studies.
• You are comfortable in managing projects, meet deadlines and work diligently with attention to detail.
• You are prepared to undertake different roles in the continually changing landscape of a start-up.
• Ready to start working soon.

What you will do

As a Drug Hunter you work in different projects, both in-house development projects and contracted assignments from clients. Working alongside experienced researchers, you will be responsible for leading and running the specific drug development projects, with the main tasks being

• In Silico Protein analysis
• AI-based compound screening
• Analysis and selection of candidates for delivery
• Report writing

You will also be a part of product development providing valuable user insight to our development team.

Requirements

• Work on-site in Gothenburg a majority of your time
• Solid understanding of fundamental drug discovery principles
